SM Series stereo microscope is designed for high quality three dimensional viewing of variety of specimens. Standard 10X wide field objective (19mm) with dual magnification objective (2X and 4X) achieves 20X and 40X magnification straight of the box; simply twist the objective tube to change magnification on the scope. Eco-friendly LED illumination on both top and bottom provides low maintenance service many times longer than traditional halogen or Tungsten bulbs while consuming less energy. 45 degrees inclined head, adjustable interpupilary (between the eyes) distance (55-75mm), and standard eye guards make observation comfortable and allows user operate longer without tiring out their eyes. Ergonomic fan-shaped base is easy on the wrist for long-hour operation and provides larger working area than a rectangular base. Diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece-tube provides sharper resolution by allowing user to finely adjust focus according to eye sight. Working distance is 95mm.
