SM Series stereo microscope is designed for high quality three dimensional viewing of variety of specimens. Standard 10X wide field objective (19mm) with dual magnification objective (2X and 4X) achieves 20X and 40X magnification straight of the box; simply twist the objective tube to change magnification on the scope. Eco-friendly LED illumination on both top and bottom provides low maintenance service many times longer than traditional halogen or Tungsten bulbs while consuming less energy. 45 degrees inclined head, adjustable interpupilary (between the eyes) distance (55-75mm), and standard eye guards make observation comfortable and allows user operate longer without tiring out their eyes. Ergonomic fan-shaped base is easy on the wrist for long-hour operation and provides larger working area than a rectangular base. Diopter adjustment on the right eyepiece-tube provides sharper resolution by allowing user to finely adjust focus according to eye sight. Working distance is 95mm. Safe and durable stand with wall support, focus knob can be adjusted with one or both hands. Unit comes with SM microscope, 2 eye guards,90V-250V universal power converter and dust cover.

This is a brand new, factory sealed, Variscope Series 824 microscope. The Variscope microscope family of optical instruments is made by one of the largest "private label" optical fabricators in the world. This microscope is designed for professional grade viewing of a wide range of specimens. This microscope is manufactured with a .7x to 4.5x stereo zoom objective made from premium ground optical glass. Used in conjunction with the included ultra-wide field 10x (20mm) stereo eyepieces, you can achieve a continuous zoom magnification range of 7x through 45x right out of the box. This is a professional grade boom stand that is designed to be completely stable even when extended to its outer range. The 10 x 9.5 inch base piece alone weighs over 24 pounds and is stable as a rock. This stereo microscope also has ergonomic features to make your microscope viewing as comfortable as possible. The main microscope head swivels 360 degrees for viewing from any angle, and the head itself sits at a comfortable 45 degree incline. The eyepieces sit in a gemel type assembly, allowing for maximum flexibility in adjusting the interpupillary distance. There are dual diopter focusing adjustments, and molded rubber eyecups are provided for your comfort. The focusing and zoom knobs are on both the right and left side of the scope allowing for easy adjustment with either the right or left hand. In addition, the entire microscope head mounts on a height adjustable base, allowing the entire scope head to be adjusted higher or lower to accommodate very large specimens. A plastic dust cover large enough to cover the entire microscope when mounted on the boom is included.
